Hello my name is Carla and I am a nail junkie. Well for as long as I can remember I've always been obsessed with nails. I just recently have started focusing on my nails again after letting them go for a few years because of the cost of the acrylic nails I tried to think of an alternative. What did I come up with? You might ask, well I thought long and hard about it and came up with gel nail polish. If you have any experience with acrylic nails you know they cause major nail damage which cause your natural nails to grow flimsy and weak. So I tried went to Sally beauty supply and purchased a gel nail  polish kit and LED drying lamp and a nail color. I must say that I am impressed, I soaked off my acrylic nails which became overlays for my natural nails, gave my self a home manicure and followed the directions on the gel nail polish kit and I am wowed by this. My nails don't feel flimsy at all I've had the polish on for about a week and it hasn't chipped, nor have any of my nails broken. I can see myself using this system for a long time and it will save me some money. I know that the gel nail polish manicures at the nail salons run anywhere from $30-$50 at one visit. I paid $150 for the nail kit, the LED lamp, 3 gel polish colors, and all the little extras that you'll need for the application. The cost of the system will pay for it self with in 1-2 uses I've used it on my daughter, my self , and will be using it on my mom this weekend. This system has already paid for itself in at home gel manicures. Oh and the best part is the polish soaks off with acetone with in 15 min. If you are someone who doesn't like to wait for your nail polish to dry or is always messing it up I would consider buying this, I hate waiting for my polish to dry this take a total of 2 min to dry from start to finish. The base coat 30 sec, first coat of polish 30 sec, 2nd coat 30 sec, top coat 30 sec and your done    So if you are wondering what system it was that I bought here's all the info: Finger Paints Gel nail polish starter kit, Finger Paints LED drying lamp, and they have various nail colors.
